How do I report issues to the forum?

When encountering unexpected behavior, itโ€™s crucial to provide a detailed description of the issue to the community forum. A thorough report can significantly speed up the troubleshooting process.

Please read the following document and then create a post on our forum:

Issue Details Checklist:

Please include the following information in your forum post to help us understand and address your issue effectively:

  • Description of the Issue: What is the problem?

    • Context: Did the issue occur while deploying a contract, minting a token?

    • Do you have multiple wallets installed?

  • System Details:

    • Operating System and Platform (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux)

  • Device Type:

    • Desktop or Mobile

  • Browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari)

  • Wallet Used (e.g., MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet)

  • Screenshots:

    • Take a screenshot of the issue along with your console.

    • If you can reproduce the error consistently, clear the console, recreate the steps to the error state, and take another screenshot after the error occurs.

  • Transaction Details: If applicable, include the transaction hash and a link to view the transaction.

Taking a screenshot of your Console

Providing a screenshot of your error along with any console errors will help us resolve issues much faster. To do this:

1. Open up your console: Head over to the Developer Tools section in your browser. Usually, this can be accessed by pressing F12.

2. Take a screenshot of the following Console tab.

If you can reproduce the error consistently:

4. With the developer tab still open, repeat the steps to arrive get to the error state. Take a screenshot of the console after the error occurs.
